Peppermint acts as an astrigent, normalizing both dry and oily hair. When applied to oily skin or scalp it helps reduce any excess oil. An oily scalp can lead to greasy hair, and the peppermint helps to regulate your scalp's oil production and eliminate the grease. Peppermint oil can soothe skin irritations and relieve pain and itching. This makes it ideal for those who have dry or irritated scalps, as it can help fight dandruff and elminate the itching associated with this condition.

How to use:
To use the shampoo bar just wet your hair thoroughly and rub it right on to your hair or (which is what I like to do) is lather it in your hands and then apply to hair to creat a lather.
If you've never used a shampoo bar before, it may take a number of washes for your hair to adjust.
The correct way to use a shampoo bar os not to use large amounts.
Remember that you are just trying to cleanse your scalp, you are not trying to produce a heap of lather like you get with commercial shampoos that use irritating foaming and soaping agents.
